My Autumn tour kicks off next weekend and ends with a very special show at The Adelphi in Hull on Sunday November 22nd, after which I’ll be starting to demo the next album over the winter.

There’s also a gig with the incredible TV Smith, a legend of the punk scene and a career spanning 50 years having produced one of the favourite albums of my youth in ‘Crossing The Red Sea With The Adverts’ and one of the best albums of the last five years in ‘Handwriting’. I first played with TV back in 1996 when Lithium Joe opened for him at Fibbers in York, and we last crossed paths at Bannermans in Edinburgh alongside the brilliant Billy Liar, so I’m really looking forward to a catch-up.

My last gig of 2026 is ‘An Evening With Joe Solo’ at The Adelphi in Hull. I wanted to finish the year with something a bit different and it brings us round in a full circle echoing the ‘SONGS & VERSES’ gigs that kicked us off back in Feb/March.

I’ll be sat down singing songs and telling stories about Hull, The Adelphi, our much-missed Jacko, and how all that was central to Lithium Joe getting started and the songs I continue to write today.
